The Castle
Each of our 9 bedrooms enjoys breathtaking views over the Castle grounds and has been individually designed and decorated with original works by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists. Carlowrie’s bedrooms all incorporate handmade beds and cabinetry from Atelier 1852 and feature sumptuous soft furnishings, bed linen and towels.
Luxurious Bathrooms
The ensuite bathrooms feature handmade roll top baths, marble tiles, underfloor heating and walk-in showers. Duvets and pillows are filled with Hungarian goose down.
The Isobel Suite
The Castle’s private suite, aptly named The Isobel (after Isobel Wylie Hutchison, the Scottish female Arctic explorer, botanist, writer, poet, artist and polyglot, who lived her whole life at Carlowrie) is the ultimate in luxury living. Spread over 115 elegantly designed square metres, it has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and stunning dining/living space. Breakfast in your own perfectly manicured, private garden and discover the Castle’s most intimate and secluded space.
The Gate Lodge
Nestled within the Carlowrie Estate, only 300 metres from the Castle. The Lodge has all the comforts you would expect from a home from home with sleek interiors and modern design. There are three luxurious double bedrooms on the ground floor and two perfectly cosy doubles on the upper level, an ideal size for children. Both of the private bathrooms are situated on the ground floor as well as a fully fitted modern kitchen with an ample sized dining table for family and friends to gather around. The lounge area is the ideal space to kick back and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Carlowrie Estate.
The Stables
Situated within easy strolling distance of the Castle, The Stables offer seven luxury ensuite rooms overlooking our sculpted walled garden. With a fantastic view of the Castle – there really is no better place to wake before enjoying breakfast at the Castle. Using the finest materials and fabrics each room features Canadian goose down bedding, high speed WiFi, smart televisions, individual smart heating controls and are stocked with Carlowrie’s own range of bespoke toiletries
